Direction Unit - A Journey Through - Directors Statement

Directions Unit - A Journey Through - Thoughts on the Finished Project

I really enjoyed the project! I don't feel I did as good as I could have done but I suppose you win some and you lose some. The biggest issue in the end I had was the sound, I really think that that is my weakness and in future projects it shall be addressed and worked out.

The camera shots I was very happy with and the overall pacing and presentation I was so pleased, with, but the sound let it down, it shall be my goal to have really good sound in my future projects, then I shall be happy. Anway, I really enjoyed the learning experience.

Directions Unit - A Journey Through - Acting

To me, for one to act, one has to understand how to act to understand what the actors are going through. I was asked by Mark in my class to act in his student film of the same script. Here is a few shots from the day.

Being an actor as a director makes me understand and think how I would want to execute the role, which I think also allows me to empathize, therefore possibly creating a better film atmosphere.
